Dallas, Denton or Fort Worth

May. 9th, 2008 | 11:13 pm
mood: nostalgic nostalgic

There are many times during the day, the mind drifts off, more often than not, its moving backwards in time, lingering on the feelings felt wandering around the U.S. playground.   Closing my eyes, re-living the immense freedom of driving the Dallas highways... continuous shops, stores, convenience, gas stations, fast food, starbucks.   No matter where you are in the city,  travelling Dallas, Denton or Fort Worth, an abundance of supply chains, positioned perfectly to cater to whatever craving, itch or need you may have.
Not being one for commercialism previously, the huge economic openings of America sure as hell left their scent and stamped a mark on the inside.

Drop Dead Fred, It's Time You Went To Bed

mood: discontent discontent

to much of a good thing leaves the water pounding the shore
lots of nothingness ensues, collecting its dues
when i think of tomorrow, my hearts still in toronto
my mind pines for the surreal

its not about being alone, but the drive to go on
my focus has become to escape the melbourne slum
the coldness surrounds me, a walking carcass without substance
what can one talk about when one has no words they want to say

How Do You Know When To Say Glow

Temptation is fairly ambiguous... In most circumstances, temptation leads us to do something we ought not to be doing, hense the word Tempt, relating back to Eve eating the Apple.. and what was with the Apple.. it's not like its Desert or secretes an overwhelming desire to sink your teeth into it.. its a freaking Apple..   You would assume, although assumption is never good, that the Vatican or whomever made the top notch ruling on which chapters, passages or scrolls to include in the Bible, that they would have opted for the scroll written which detailed Eve actually sucumbing to her temptation to scoff her face full of strawberries... Had the Bible actually had some sense included, perhaps the 'God' religion may have retained some credibility. .. and a reminder ... it is God, not Jesus Christ that exists.. people all to easily forget that Jesus was just a human being, slaughtered albeit, but God is the Almighty.. who does not need idols to be worshipped... God is everywhere...  The wearing of crucifixes and images of Christ are a direct and blatent situation of idol worshipping.  ... p.s.   you do not need images of christ to remind you of his existance...   ... and to top this rant off, this is not even my faith, but its highly disrespectful to do anything that offends whatever religion. hmmm... does existance really matter at all ?
